New Show at Jones Hall Gallery
My favorite piece was "Hegemons", taxidermed deer heads. Reminded me of Andy Rihn. The space is small and held only 5 pieces. The work is solid, but could be more, and perhaps more cohesive. It was certainly a survey of successful works, despite the fact that an overarching theme was lacking.
Clever digital projection entitled "iCabinet". It moves and changes. Never be stuck with the same nicknacks again! I have a real version of this shelf at home.
